Chess Table is made of Chechan and Bird's Eye Maple, then bordered
with Wenge and Bird's Eye Maple. The outer frame and stand are white oak.
The top of this board is flat all the way across, and the box beneath holds drawers in which to keep the chess pieces. Others, like the example below, have a three dimensional playing surface.
Many colors/styles can be incorporated into your personal game board to match your decor and preferences. This piece is a separate game board fixed to a box to store your game pieces, but it can also be mounted to a stand as the one shown above.
For the sake of space and mobility, some have chosen to forego the box underneath, opting instead for the game board itself. Again, either completely flat, or raised for visual effect.
